Your financial life spans multiple entities, trusts or properties
Holding companies, family LLCs, trusts and real estate each need books, filings and a consistent reporting standard that shows how they fit together.
Private Client & Family Office
As wealth grows, so does the complexity surrounding it. Businesses, investments, properties, trusts, taxes and professional advisors can leave even successful families without a clear view of the whole picture.
Alinea brings accounting, tax, financial administration, reporting and planning together through one coordinated relationship.
Rather than adding another siloed service, we act as the connective layer between your existing advisors — organizing the information, tracking the activity, and making sure the financial side of your life is clear, current and aligned with the decisions being made on your behalf.
We serve individuals and families nationwide from our office in Beverly Hills, California, with secure document exchange and remote collaboration built into every engagement.
Alinea concentrates on the financial infrastructure behind your family's wealth. We are not a lifestyle management or concierge service. We do not provide investment management or legal services. We work alongside the professionals who do. When expertise outside our scope is required, we coordinate with the appropriate professional.

Holding companies, family LLCs, trusts and real estate each need books, filings and a consistent reporting standard that shows how they fit together.
02
Brokerage, banking and custodial relationships sit in different places, and no single report shows the combined position.
03
Capital calls, distributions, K-1s and commitment tracking need to be monitored, funded on time and reconciled to your records.
04
Entity structure, timing of gains, distributions and gifting decisions affect one another and benefit from a coordinated view.
05
Bill pay, account maintenance, statements and document organization begin to feel like managing a business rather than a household.
06
Your attorney, wealth manager, insurance professional and banker each do excellent work, but no one is responsible for making sure the pieces actually connect.
07
A consolidated balance sheet, net worth statement and cash flow reporting across entities give a clearer basis for decisions.
08
A sale, exit or large distribution changes the tax, reporting and administrative picture quickly and requires structure around it.
09
You need the capabilities of a dedicated financial office without hiring and managing internal accounting and administrative staff.

Implementation
Before Alinea can coordinate a family’s finances, we first need to understand how everything fits together. Every Private Client & Family Office relationship begins with a structured implementation.
Final implementation fees depend on complexity.
An outsourced family office provides many of the financial capabilities of a traditional family office without requiring a family to hire and manage an internal team. Alinea focuses on accounting, tax, financial administration, reporting, planning and advisor coordination.
Not necessarily. Wealth alone does not determine whether Private Client & Family Office services are appropriate. We consider the complexity of your entities, investments, properties, tax situation, reporting needs and financial administration.
Yes. Family Office and Private Office engagements can include personal, household and entity bill payment. We establish documented approval procedures and financial controls during implementation.
No. Alinea provides investment account reconciliation and financial reporting coordination, private investment and capital activity tracking, and related financial administration. Investment recommendations and portfolio management remain with your investment advisor or another appropriately qualified professional.
No. Alinea is a CPA firm and can provide accounting and tax services within the scope of your engagement. We do not replace your attorney, investment advisor, insurance professional or other specialists. Instead, we coordinate with them so financial decisions can be considered as part of the larger picture.
Fees are based on complexity and workload rather than net worth. Factors include entities and trusts, financial accounts, transaction and bill-payment volume, private investments, properties, tax requirements, reporting needs and the level of ongoing administration and coordination required.
